DJI has released their new drone called the Mavic Air. It's a combination of the Mavic pro and the Dji spark, that has all the benefits of Mavic Pro but with a smaller more portable design. If you have recently purchased a DJI spark over the holidays or received one as a gift. I'm sorry to say that It's has just been superseded by the Mavic air in every possible way. As a Mavic pro owner, my impression of the Dji spark has always been somewhat meh... In order for the DJI spark to be even remotely competitive to the Mavic pro, required that you spend additional money for the remote control, and at that point, the price point is so close to the Mavic Pro it doesn't warrant the purchase.
With that said the new Mavic Air is an excellent drone that can be used by pros and entry-level drone enthusiasts. I am curious to see if any of the new features trickle down to the Mavic pro.
